Fans are convinced that Kelly Clarkson aimed a song at her ex-husband last night and let's just say, she did not hold back.

Over the weekend, the 41-year-old singer kicked off her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino's Bakkt Theater with a rendition of Gayle's hit tune 'ABCDEFU.'

Now, for those of you that might not be aware, the original lyrics of the chorus read: "F*** you and your mom and your sister and your job / And your broke-a** car and that s*** you call art. F*** you and your friends that I'll never see again / Everybody but your dog, you can all f*** off."

While Gayle's original version immediately went viral as every girl's scream-out-loud anthem, Clarkson's rendition is gaining traction online for being just as iconic.

Clips taken by those in attendance at the concert were shared across all social media platforms and everyone is seemingly convinced that it was a big fat middle finger - literally - aimed at her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.

In a clip posted to Twitter, the musician and talk show host sang: "F*** you and your dad and the fact that you got half, and my broken heart, turn that s*** into art. F*** you, and your view from the valley I bought you, everybody but your dogs, you can all f*** off!"

According to a report by The Blast, Clarkson was ordered to pay a one-time, tax-free payment of $1,326,161 to her ex-husband as part of their divorce settlement, on top of the monthly child support payments of $45,601 for their two children, River Rose, eight, and Remington Alexander, six.

This outcome came after a lengthy and highly publicized two-year custody and property battle.

The lyric change was welcomed by the audience who cheered loudly when the 'Because Of You' hitmaker was finished.

And the sentiment was shared by social media users too, who praised the artist for her creativity.

"'And your dad and the fact that you got half/And my broken heart, turned that s*** into art.' Wow, I love the original but these are fierce changes," wrote one user.

"I love that she took the dogs out of it," added another.

A third said: "That must feel so good!! Too bad we can’t all get on a stage when needed."

Ain't that right, sis!

Others also urged Clarkson to release an entire album of covers since she's so good at doing them.

'Is it just me or does anyone else feel like Kelly should do a cover album?!?!"

"She has to stop covering everyones songs better than them," another user added.

Elsewhere during the concert, Clarkson also had a warning for the audience given the current trend of throwing things at performers while they are performing on stage.

Addressing the crowd, she said: "Whatever you do, don't throw it at me, people. If you're gonna throw s***, throw diamonds."

What an icon.

The news comes after The Voice judge revealed that her latest album 'Chemistry' is based on her former relationship as well as her feelings on her divorce - but she kept her children in mind when creating it.

"It's very personal," she told Kotb and Daly on the Today show back in June. "And I've always released personal music - I think I'm that kind of writer in general, everybody knows that. I think when you have kids - you both have kids, too - you kind of debate, 'What am I going to do here?' So I was very selective about the songs I picked for the album."

Chemistry is available to listen to now.
