Paul Stanley, frontman of the band KISS, has dared to bare all in a rare selfie with his daughter.

The 71-year-old music legend - who is best known for portraying The Starchild persona as the lead singer in 70s glam metal band KISS - is currently on a sunny vacation with his 11-year-old daughter Emily, whom he shares with wife Erin Sutton. The pair have two other children together - Sarah, 14, and Colin, 16.

Stanley also has a son, 28-year-old Evan Stanley, with his first wife Pamela Bowen.

Taking to Twitter, Stanley wrote alongside a selfie of him and his youngest daughter: "Family vacation! My beautiful Emily brightens the day even more!"

Stanley has been quite reserved about his personal life, however, he told Forbes in 2018 that becoming a father helped him to develop a deeper understanding of life.

"I went through quite a bit of life wondering what life was about and it just seemed like perhaps at the end of the day it didn't mean much because we go through our lives and then we're gone," he stated.

"With each of my children, all of which I either helped to deliver or pulled out or did all kinds of participation, it became clear to me that we only die physically because we are the product of the generations before us and we live on in the generations after us," he added. "The children we create ultimately are the voices of us in the future."

He then told the outlet: "We're given these blank slates and we get to write whatever we want on them. So whatever time we put in and the effort we put in is what we get out."

Last year, Stanley participated in an interview with Howie Mandel, where he discussed his upbringing and how his father had been envious of his success.

"I was baffling to them. I was running around in tights and high heels with white makeup and putting a guitar between my legs. So, to begin with, I was a bit strange. But I think it was a little hard on them. I think it was a little hard on my dad," he admitted, via Full In Bloom.

"I think it was a bit difficult for my dad to see my success when success eluded him. Look, people aren’t perfect, and my parents certainly weren’t perfect. I think it was tough for my dad because instead of looking at my successes, and seeing that he was a part of it, my dad thought of it as his inadequacies," he added.
