Kirsten Bell has revealed that her five-year-old daughter is still wearing diapers.

The actress has been famously open about the trials and tribulations of parenting her two daughters, seven-year-old Lincoln and five-year-old Delta, who she shares with husband Dax Shepard.

Kirsten discusses Momsplaining in the video below:

In an interview with Maya Rudolph and Casey Wilson cited by the Metro, the Good Place star said: "My oldest daughter, at 21 months, we merely suggested that she use the toilet in the other room and [she] never wore another diaper beyond that."

"We were lying in bed giggling about this, my husband and I, like, 'Why does everyone make a big deal out of this potty training? It's so easy. Just tell the kid to use the toilet.'

"Currently, my youngest is 5½, still in diapers."

Maya said: "It's real relative, isn't it?", with Kristen replying: "Yes, because every kid is so different."

Kirsten is using her platform to fight parenting shaming online, and Momsplaining, explaining that even when you're a successful actress, it doesn't mean that your kids will necessarily listen to you.

In a previous episode, Kirsten revealed what her hilariously relatable homeschooling attempts during lockdown have been like.

The star said: "When we started this quarantine, the first math worksheet I gave my daughter, in all the answer lines she wrote, 'No. No. No. No. No.'

"There are a few people that have come out victorious in this situation though. Germaphobes, stay-at-home moms, they're all like, 'I told you how f***ing hard this is.'"

But Kirsten hasn't just been fighting with her kids to do their homework though, she had her partner have also been at each other's throats.

In an interview on E!’s Daily Pop, Kristen said: "We started quarantine needing a little marriage house cleaning. We had a huge fight, and then we didn't talk for three and a half days, and then we made up and now we're fine."

This, however, is not the first time that the couple, who have been married since 2013, have been open about their relationship problems and they have explained why they do it.

She said: "We decided a long time ago that… there was sort of no getting around it.

"We could try to take all questions about our relationship off the table for the rest of our lives, and just be incredibly boring, or we could sort of open the kimono - as they say - and allow people to see what our marriage is like."
