Vaping is taking over - and Lana Del Rey has clearly hopped on the trend.

The talented songstress - best known for her floaty vocals and songs that explore themes like tragic romance and melancholia - is taking the music world by storm after singing in her first live performance in over three years recently.

The 'Summertime Sadness' singer wore a blonde wig and channeled Marilyn Monroe while performing a medley of hits from her latest album, Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, at the MITA Festival in Brazil.

The festival marks the first time the singer - whose real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant - has performed a full concert since November 2019.

Since 2019, Del Rey has only made brief appearances on late-night talk shows, with her performing once with Bleachers at the High Water Festival in South Carolina earlier this year.

It was at her recent show in Brazil, however, when she swiftly paused her performance to ask if anyone had seen her vape.

"If you see my vape on stage, can you find my vape on stage?" Lana said. It appeared when a fan in the audience then found it. "You did?!" Lana said, and then jokingly rushed over.

"Where, though?! Oh, all the way in the pit," she said, before adding: "F**k it."

Last March, Del Rey - who has previously been nominated for a Grammy - received the Visionary Award at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music for her outstanding career. "I don't exactly have a long-term vision at all, but if you were curious, I am very, very happy," she said, via Page Six.

"When I released my first album 14 years ago, the waters were not quite as warm. I'm really happy for everyone who feels like it's a wonderful time in the culture to be themselves and express themselves. It didn't feel that way in 2008," the singer added.

Del Rey is set to perform at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK in June, where numerous female artists like Lizzo, Kelis, and Becky Hill are also in the lineup - but aren't headlining. Rather, Lizzo is opening for Guns N' Roses. Earlier this year, Del Rey hit out at the lineup, saying that she is actually headlining the second stage but that this hasn't been promoted or advertised by the festival organizers.

Following the release of the lineup, she reportedly stated on her private Instagram: "Well, I'm actually headlining the 2nd stage. But, since there was no consideration for announcing that we'll see."

Let's just hope whatever Del Rey chooses to do, she'll at least remember where she left her vape.
