On Monday night, rapper Lil Pump stood alongside President Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Per The Independent, the 20-year-old rapper took to the stage and said he "appreciates" what President Trump has done during his first term, specifically saying that the POTUS "brought the troops home" and is "doing the right thing" for the US.

However, not everybody was pleased with the young star's vocal backing of Trump, 74.

For example, supermodel Bella Hadid blasted Lil Pump after the rapper shared a picture of himself surrounded by four women and posing in front of a giant red "Trump" flag on his Instagram account.

Sharing Pump's image to her own Instagram Stories, Hadid wrote to her 35 million followers: "This is so irresponsible. This kid is a loser.

"Anwys, I'm going to Mars, you guys want anything? [sic]"

Now, Lil Pump has spoken to TMZ about the fallout from his appearance with Trump.

Answering questions as he was pulling up to Trump's Washington D.C. hotel earlier today (November 3), the rapper was asked about the response he was getting from Republicans in response to his endorsing of the President.

"Amazing, a lot of love," Pump replied, before being asked how the hip-hop community had responded, to which the rapper said:

"A lot of people are saying a lot of negative stuff - but I don't pay attention to that. None of it! I don't care about that, y'know?

And when asked if there would be "politics in his future," Lil Pump responds with a quietly confident: "Yeah, sure."

When asked what advice he would give to other rappers, Pump brazenly replied: "Trump 20202020!"

And as the rapper was driving away, the interviewer asked how he would feel about Trump losing, to which the rapper replied: "He's not losing!"

However, Lil Pump must have been left a little red-faced after Trump accidentally introduced him as "Lil Pimp":
