Lili Reinhart has opened up about the racy Riverdale scene that she "really, really" didn't want to do, but explained why she decided to go through with it.
The 23-year-old has been playing Betty Cooper on the teenage drama since 2017, and in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, she opened up about why this racy scene from season four was hard for her to film.
If you haven't seen it yet, this is the teaser trailer for season five of Riverdale:

She said: "I don't have the CW girl body. Tiny waist, nice-shaped legs, skinny, small, tiny.
"I had to do a bra and underwear scene in this last season and I felt really insecure about it.
"I really, really didn't want to do it. I didn't tell anyone this. I wasn't pressured into doing it. I did it because it was my job."
Despite the fact that she felt bad about doing the scene, she felt like it was important to push past her body insecurities for the sake of her fans.
"This is where it gets complicated. I can't preach body positivity if I don't practice it," said Reinhart.
"So even if I'm not feeling amazing about my body, I felt it was important for me to do the scene anyway in my bra and underwear so people could see my body as it was. I did it for the people who feel like they need to look a certain way."
"I have bigger boobs, I have cellulite on my thighs/butt, and my stomach sticks out rather than curves in," she tweeted.
"I want other young women to see my body on TV and feel comfort in the fact that I'm not a size 0."

This is not the first time that the actress has opened up about her body insecurities to her fans. Back in February, she said she sometimes feels "intimidated by the physique of [her] surrounding castmates."
Reinhart said she feels like it is her "obligation" to be confident about her body anyway to fight back against the unrealistic body standards that Hollywood has become notorious for.
