Lindsay Lohan's ex-girlfriend has recently spoken out after the star announced the news of her pregnancy yesterday.
In a statement to TMZ, she told the outlet: "We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!"
On Tuesday (March 14), in a follow-up, Lohan, 36, took to Instagram to tell her fans that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Bader Shammas.
Posting a snapshot of a baby grow with the words "Coming soon" plastered across it, the former Mean Girls star told fans that she and Shammas were "blessed and excited" about becoming parents.
Just a day after the news became public knowledge, Lohan's ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson has spoken out about how happy she is for the actress.
Speaking to TMZ, the 45-year-old DJ said: "I wish her all the best. It's always great news when someone is expecting a baby."

The pair dated on and off throughout 2008 but officially called it quits in 2009.
Just three years later, she referred to both herself as well as Ronson as "toxic" during an interview with Us Weekly.
"I needed to love myself first before I could be with anyone," she said at the time. "And I was going through a lot. Two toxic people cannot be together. End of story."
She added: "We’re friends now. That’s how it started, so I think that’s what’s meant to be."
After her whirlwind romance with Ronson, Lohan went on to date Matt Nordgren, as well as Vikram Chatwal, Egor Tarabasov, and Mohammad bin Salman before settling with her current partner, Shammas.
Last year, in an interview with Cosmopolitan, Lohan described the assistant vice president at Credit Suisse as an "amazing husband."
When asked about her support system, the 36-year-old said: "I have an amazing husband, who’s a very calm person. Just the best. And my family. And I feel like I have a small group of good friends who are just really good people. That’s the only support that I really need: friends, family, and loved ones."
The pair dated for a year or so before getting engaged in November 2021, which Lohan updated her fans about at the time.
The former child star captioned the post: "My love. My life. My family. My future."
Congratulations to the lovebirds, we can't wait to see the little one later on in the year!
