Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall has opened up about her most embarrassing moment on stage in the latest episode of MTV series, Served! With Jade Thirlwall.
Speaking to Spice Girl Mel C and RuPaul's Drag Race star Courtney Act, the singer said that before going on stage, she was unable to go to the bathroom, and well... she pooped herself.
Watch the hilarious revelation below (the discussion starts at 09:15):She said "My worst ever stage experience, for me, was on [Little Mix's] Glory Days tour. I was a bit unwell at the time, I had, like, a poorly belly.
"And basically, before the show starts, we were in, you know the man-lifts? Where it rises up, and it’s like a big dramatic entrance?
"As I was [crouching down] in the man-lift, I looked at my security guard, and I was like, 'I really need to do a little fart.'"
However, it turns out that Thirwall didn't need to release an innocuous pocket of air, but a poop.
She added: "So I did it. I did a little fart. And then I literally s**t myself."
In response to the mortifying revelation, Mel burst into giggles while Courtney, a drag queen, playfully quipped: "That's why it pays to be tucked, Jade. If you'd been tucked, your bumh*** would have been taped over."
Jade then continued: "I was in a fishnet. Picture that. I probably shouldn't have mentioned that publicly, to be honest. But there you have it."
Afterward, it appears that Jade immediately felt like she'd overshared.
She admitted to her flat-mate off-screen: "I’ve just told a Spice Girl that I s**t myself."
Served! With Jade Thirlwall is a show that centers around a musician and a drag queen who join forces to cook a meal from a bag of mystery ingredients.
Jade was a natural host for the show as a vocal ally of the LGBTQ+ community who has a number of drag queen friends.
