Lizzo celebrates awards nominations with stunning gold bikini vacation pics

Lizzo has celebrated her many awards nominations with a set of stunning gold bikini vacation pictures.

Taken in Auckland, New Zealand, the pictures show the 31-year-old American singer posing on the beach and generally living her best life in a strappy gold bikini after she was nominated for eight Grammy Awards, six iHeart Music Awards, six NAACP Image Awards, and one BRIT Award.

"Currently nominated for... 6 NAACP Image awards | 8 Grammy awards | 6 iHeart music awards | 1 Brit award | AND IVE ALREADY WON! In the words of @saintrecords 'black girls are grammys muthaf**kaaaaa'," she wrote on Instagram alongside a thirst trap video of herself ina gold bikini.

Prior to this, the singer had posted two pictures of herself posing on an Auckland beach in the same bikini, which she had captioned snaps: "I love you. You are beautiful. You can do anything. (Repeat)".

Lizzo's body confidence has been a source of inspiration for many, and the majority of commenters praised the 'Juice' singer for having the confidence to embrace her curvacious frame.

One wrote: "'Oh God, I love you' me in my head when I saw this. without reading you're [sic] caption yet. Thank you 😘"

Lizzo was the center of controversy this month after she was accused of glorifying obesity by Jillian Michaels. The personal trainer, however, got more than she bargained for when she was slammed by many for her comments.
