The 36-year-old star took to Instagram to share a series of photos of herself wearing a white frilly outfit with her hair braided, as she captioned the snaps: "Last night I wore milkmaid braids."

She also included a video of her mom rocking the same hairstyle as she joked: "My mom stole my hairstyle & ate me up."

Fans quickly flooded her comments to praise the star on how far she has come in her fitness journey.

They wrote: "The face card has never and will never decline," and: "First thing to slim is that face, hi haterssssss!!"

Others added: "She was beautiful before and is beautiful now," and: "So beautiful. You have worked so hard."

Another commented: "The cheekbones are cheekboning," while someone else wrote: "Looking snatched."

One fan highlighted: "It doesn’t matter how, @lizzobeeating looks and I know definitely FEELS amazing. Happiness looks good on you woman!"

Lizzo has previously opened up on her recent weight loss, telling the New York Times earlier this year that she is on a "natural weight-loss journey," and is being "methodical, losing weight very slowly."

She also called out claims that she was taking a weight loss drug such as Ozempic, saying in September: "When you finally get ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit."

She also made fun of a joke made on a South Park episode by dressing as LizzOzempic for Halloween, wearing a costume comprised of a custom-made box bearing her name with a measuring tape tied around her waist.

Lizzo also posed for a fake advert for the brand, with the slogan: "Need self love? Try Lizzo! Lose guilt. Gain confidence.

"Side effects include: A smile on your face and a pep in your step."

She also told the New York Times about her thoughts on body positivity, explaining: "The idea of body positivity, it’s moved away from the antiquated mainstream conception. It’s evolved into body neutrality.

"I’m not going to lie and say I love my body every day. The bottom line is, the way you feel about your body changes every single day. There are some days I adore my body, and others when I don’t feel completely positive."

Lizzo also previously addressed having days off her healthy eating regime, revealing in a Tiktok video: "I overate yesterday, and I'm feeling really bad about it.

"I'm trying to remind myself that my body needed that nourishment. And if my body deserves comfort, then my brain deserves comfort too."

Reassuring her fans who may be struggling with similar journeys: "If you're going through this, [you're] not alone."
