Loren Gray has alleged that some influencers claiming to be at Coachella aren't actually at the popular music festival.
If you are getting FOMO (fear of missing out) from not being at this year's star-studded Coachella, the 20-year-old musician - who was the most-followed TikToker from 2019 to 2020 - has shared some valuable information that could help.
Gray explained in a video posted on the social media platform, which has already amassed over 3.4 million views, that some internet personalities actually fake going to the three-day festival.
She started the video by explaining that she thinks it's a "hilarious" concept, and that she wanted to share it with her followers because she hadn’t seen anyone else talking about it.
Watch Gray's TikTok below:She said to her 54.4 million followers: "Coachella’s like the influencer Olympics, right? It’s the place to be. But most influencers, or a lot of influencers, don’t even go to Coachella, and I think that this is such a wild fact."
The 'Queen' musician claimed that some of these influencers will just go out to Indio, California - the area where the music extravaganza is held - and stay in an Airbnb.
She said that they’ll dress up and get their makeup done, and merely pose for pictures without actually going into the festival and hilariously added: "Post up 'Coachella Day 1, Coachella Day 2.'"
"They don’t have wristbands, they just drive their little butts out to the desert to take Instagram photos, make TikToks, get ready with me's, whatever," she went on.
After sharing this chunk of information, she remarked to her followers that most influencers who post never watch the artists perform live.
"So, if you feel bored and sad because you’re not at Coachella, just know that most of these people aren’t there either," she said. "It’s like a very common occurrence that I thought people knew, but then I didn’t see anyone talking about it, so now you know."
Many users flooded the comment section with praise for Gray's transparency, as one user wrote: "Lmfao a queen right here spilling tea."

Another person said: "You're so real for this."

A third commented: "Here for Loren spilling the tea so we feel better."

Several other users confessed that they had never considered these claims to even be a possibility. One person penned: "This seems so obvious and yet I had no idea lol."

A second user remarked: "I was just wondering how they all get ready by like noon and still be 'late' and catch the set at midnight lmao."

Another chimed in: "Right like I kept wondering how they survived in the desert heat with these crazy heavy outfits walking and dancing all day long."

Back in April 2019, YouTube star Gabbie Hanna faked a trip to Coachella by photoshopping snaps of herself to make it seem as though she attended the festival.
She also turned her friend's home into her fake "Airbnb" and printed out counterfeit versions of the wristband before unveiling the truth in a now-deleted YouTube video titled "I Faked Going To Coachella".
She explained in the clip that she was motivated by other social media influencers who have pulled off the same tricks like posing in fake private jets.
So, it seems like Gray's claim holds some truth.
