People are thirsting over Mark Zuckerberg after someone took a still from his latest social media update and posted it online.

Taking to Instagram, the Facebook CEO gave fans an insight into the intricacies of new AI features that are being developed for the social media platform, but rather than focusing on the contents of the video, people were distracted by something else entirely: Zuckerberg's appearance.

Watch the video in question below:

The billionaire has seemingly let his hair grow out a little, ditching his usual hairstyle for some softer copper curls, and not only that but it seems as though he's implemented a new skincare routine into his life because there were no forehead wrinkles to be seen.

Instead, his often safe and 2D look was replaced with a fresh and youthful-looking vibe.

However, social media users cranked things up a notch after someone decided to edit a still taken from the video and repost it onto X (formerly Twitter) and the only massive addition to the image was a beard - a feature hailed as the "makeup" of men.

And let me tell you, the results were unbelievable.

Have a look at the post below:

People were so shocked, they gathered under the original video on Zuckerberg's Instagram and urged him to take the plunge.

"You gotta get the beard for real," wrote one user, while another added: "Bro, grow your beard."

A third chimed in writing: "My man is aging in reverse."

They ain't wrong, are they?

And perhaps my favorite compliment of all: "Went from steal my data, to steal my wife and kids."

And over on X, it was a similar type of reaction.

One user jokingly compared an old photo of the 39-year-old to a screenshot taken from the video and edited his name to "Mark F***erberg."

Others were left confused as to why people were thirsting over the man, but still keeping receipts.

"I remember ya'll lusting over AI Mark Zuckerberg on the timeline last night," this user noted.

What do you think? Should Zuckerberg grow a beard for real?
