The newest season of The Masked Singer is still yet to hit our screens, but it is already making headlines.
The reality-talent show is already stirring up drama, as a shocking unmasking reportedly prompted judges to storm off stage in protest.
A new report from Deadline states that judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke both walked off-camera when former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was revealed as a contestant during the taping of the first episode.

The Fox singing competition is known for its jaw-dropping unmaskings and has featured a range of secret celebrity contestants over the years, including Lil Wayne, CeeLo Green, and Tony Hawk.
But few contestants have had as controversial a reveal as Giuliani. Though Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy both reportedly stayed to chat with the Republican politician, his presence on stage was apparently enough to make fellow judges Thicke and Jeong hit the exit.
The former mayor has faced widespread criticism in the past for baselessly insisting that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump.

Viewers will have to wait for season seven to arrive on screen later this year to find out what character Giuliani was disguised as and what song it was that got him sent home early.
Until then, the upcoming series' theme - 'The Good, The Bad, and The Cuddly' - might give them a clue about his onstage persona.
Though Giuliani's reported presence has clearly caused a splash, he isn't the first Republican politician to don a head mask and take to the microphone.

Back in 2020, the show raised a few eyebrows when Sarah Palin -in disguise as 'The Bear' - was revealed as a contestant in a shocking unmasking that had host Nick Cannon struggling to believe his eyes.
"This might be the most shocked I’ve ever been on this show," he said at the time, per the New York Post.
Season seven of The Masked Singer is set to premiere on March 9.
