Megan Fox admits that behind closed doors, she struggles with her body image.
The actress, 35, revealed that she suffers from body dysmorphia in a recent joint interview with boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly for British GQ Style.
"Yeah, I have body dysmorphia. I have a lot of deep insecurities," she told the magazine.
"We may look at somebody and think, 'That person's so beautiful. Their life must be so easy.' They most likely don't feel that way about themselves," she said.

Per Mayo Clinic, body dysmorphia is described as a mental health disorder in which a person can't stop thinking about a perceived defect or flaw in their appearance. The disorder can cause anxiety and distress, making it difficult to function in social situations and daily life.
Fox did not detail the ways in which body dysmorphic disorder affects her, but she has discussed other mental health issues in the past, saying she nearly reached a "breaking point" after the 2009 release of Jennifer's Body because she found herself consistently being sexualized in films and media.
"It wasn't just that movie, it was every day of my life, all the time, with every project I worked on and every producer I worked with," Fox said at the time.

Fox's boyfriend MGK also opened up about his issues.
He confirmed he has post-traumatic stress disorder from his difficult upbringing and his drug issues.
He said: "I'm basically trying to live without dying quickly every day," he said, adding that Fox has been trying to get him to open up more to his fans about his issues.
"I want to be as grounded as she is, but I’m not there yet. I’m open to it, but I don’t want to fool you like I’m there."

MGK added that he has the "utmost respect" for Fox, who he's been dating since June 2020, following her split with Brian Austin Green in May 2020.
"She's helped me realize that you can’t bury your trauma. No one knows anything about me. They don’t know how deep that rabbit hole goes with my childhood and with everything that my body has stored in itself," he added.
Fox admitted that the pair's union is a, "very intense relationship."
