Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have said in a new Zoom interview that we must acknowledge the "uncomfortable" past of the Commonwealth.
The comments were made during the Queen's Commonwealth Trust video call - a weekly event set up in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.
With wife Meghan at his side, the brother of the future king and head of the Commonwealth urged the public to recognize the history of the British Empire and to continue making positive steps, saying: "There is no turning back now."
Listen to Royals discuss the Commonwealth in the video below:The 35-year-old prince said during the July 6 call: "When you look across the Commonwealth, there is no way that we can move forward unless we acknowledge the past.
"So many people have done such an incredible job of acknowledging the past and trying to right those wrongs, but I think we all acknowledge there is so much more still to do.
"It's not going to be easy and in some cases, it's not going to be comfortable, but it needs to be done, because, guess what, everybody benefits."
In the video below, Piers Morgan brands Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spoiled brats:The Commonwealth is made up of the 52 countries that used to be a part of the British Empire, including Canada, South Africa, and Australia.
As she sat next to her husband, Meghan said from their LA home: "We're going to have to be a little uncomfortable right now, because it's only in pushing through that discomfort that we get to the other side of this and find the place where a high tide raises all ships.
"Equality does not put anyone on the back foot, it puts us all on the same footing - which is a fundamental human right."

However, Tory MP Andrew Rosindell said that the Queen would likely not be "pleased" with Prince Harry's comments.
In an interview with the Mail Online, he said: "I'm surprised that he would be making comments like that. I don't agree with what he is saying. We should look forward not back.
"As someone who has stepped out of the Royal Family he should focus on his own life and not get involved in politics.
"That is not the appropriate thing to do. I'm not sure his grandmother would be too pleased either."
