Megyn Kelly has slammed Tom Brady after he shared a picture of himself stripped down.
On Monday (February 6), the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback posted a mirror selfie of himself posing on the edge of an unmade bed in a pair of brown boxers from his athleisure line Brady Brand.
The 45-year-old's snapshot was all part of a bet with his clothing line, which reminded him that last year he said that he would recreate some of the underwear models' photos if his tweet got 40,000 likes.
"Did I do it right? @Edelman11 @RobGronkowski @bradybrand," he asked his fellow former NFL players in the caption of his photo which showed off his chiseled physique.
Check out Brady's picture below:The picture earned 25.6K likes on the social media platform, which means that many people clearly enjoyed the provocative image - well, except for controversial journalist Megyn Kelly.
On Tuesday's broadcast of the 52-year-old's SiriusXM podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, she questioned: "Why did he [Tom Brady] post this on the internet?"
"This looks like something you’d yell at your teenage son for sending around to his girlfriend," the conservative media personality remarked to her three guests, before adding: "Why is he posting pictures of himself with his little tiny underwear?"
"Somebody said he lost a bet, somebody said he's promoting his underwear? I don’t know," a bewildered Kelly continued. "But Tom Brady doesn’t need to promote underwear, he’s worth hundreds of millions of dollars."
Watch Kelly's commentary below:The commentary comes after the future Hall of Famer shared on his Instagram that he has retired "for good" after 23 seasons in the sport.
Brady initially retired last February but it was short-lived as he reversed the decision and made a comeback in March of the same year. At the time, he tweeted: "These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now."
"I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business," he added.
One year later, the seven-time Super Bowl winner took to his social media to share a heartwarming video to disclose to his fans that this time, his retirement is for good.
"I'm retiring. For good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning I figured I'd just press record, and let you guys know first," he said.
"It won't be long-winded, you only get one super-emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year, so. I really thank you guys...so much," he continued. "To every single one of you, for supporting me, my family, my friends, teammates, my competitors."
"I could go on forever. There's too many. Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn't change a thing. Love you all," he concluded the post which amassed more than 3 million likes.
The athlete's announcement comes just months after he and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen finalized their divorce after 13 years of marriage in October 2022.
