Text messages between Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson accusing Amber Heard of "sociopathic behavior" have been revealed.

Over the weekend, over 6,000 pages of pre-trial documents from the celebrity exes' explosive defamation trial were unsealed.

Among the many details to come to light was a text exchanged between Depp, 59, and controversial musician Manson, 53, which Depp's lawyers fought to keep from being shown in court.

Per court documents reviewed by MailOnline, Manson compares his relationship with girlfriend Lindsay Usich to Depp's marriage to Heard, writing: "I got an amber 2.0" and claiming she "just pulled an amber on me...please delete."

In his reply, Depp advises Manson not to give Usich "what she wants which is TO MAKE YOU SCREAM, FLIP OUT AND FLIP OUT AND FEED HER NARCISSISM!!!"

Depp continued: "Sociopathic behavior... it is f***ing real, my brother!! My ex-c*** is god**** TEXTBOOK!!"

In later messages, Manson claimed that things had escalated with Usich and he had a "serious police amber type scenario with L's family."

"I'm f***ing stressing. I don't know if you are back but I need asylum somewhere because I think the cops might be headed my way," he wrote, before explaining that Usich had claimed he "beat her up".

Throughout his messages, Manson referred to Usich's behavior as "an amber", writing: "Lindsay pulled an amber and she filed a police report," and "she is pulling an amber and the cops are gonna show up to serve me a restraining order."

Manson later married Usich, though the musician has been dogged in the past by accusations of sexual assault and abuse by multiple women. He has denied all allegations against him.

Meanwhile, Depp's legal team argued that texts between their client and Manson should not be shown in court as they aimed to "smear Mr. Depp under a guilty by association theory."

"Ms. Heard's attempt to inset Marilyn Manson into this case lacks foundation and is wholly speculative and constitutes improper character evidence," Depp's team wrote in the pre-trial documents, per Newsweek.

Jurors sided largely with Depp when the trial concluded earlier this summer. The Pirates of the Caribbean star was awarded over $10 million in damages, and it was ruled that Heard had defamed him on several counts when she claimed to be a domestic abuse survivor in a 2018 Washington Post op ed.
