Mia Khalifa has sparked backlash on social media after expressing her anger at being forced to sit in traffic for three and a half hours due to the thousands of people viewing the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II.

The 29-year-old former adult star is vacationing in the UK but didn't care much for the royal events planned ahead of the late Queen's funeral.

However, Khalifa found herself in a drama after users online found out about her apparent dislike of the monarchy after she shared a TikTok clip from one of Anthony Bourdain's TV shows.

The video, shared on her Instagram story, showed Bourdain and his friends cheering their glasses, until one member of the party says: "To the Queen." He then pulls an annoyed expression before responding: "No, I hate the aristocracy man."

The content creator added her own caption to the clip, writing: "Me right now as I sit in a car for 3.5 hours to a shoot bc [because] of traffic from the queen having died peacefully due to being as old as the Magna Carta."

One user commented on her ordeal on Twitter, writing: "If only there was some kind of Underground Tube system she could have used.."

While another said: "Never mind stop thinking about yourself for a change."

However, despite the hours of traffic, Khalifa seems to be enjoying her time in the UK, judging by her Instagram snaps which show iconic British scenes, including big red buses.

In one photo, the model shared a picture of herself posing alongside the most famous red telephone box, captioned "a nuclear era, but I have no fear".

After sharing the same photos on her Twitter account, Ash Sarkar, a Journalist, replied to her snaps and jokingly called Khalifa's posts "disrespectful" amid the mourning for Her Majesty.

Sarkar then posted a photo of a phone box that had been draped in black to mark the late Queen's death, writing: "Actually very disrespectful to show a telephone box which isn't in full mourning dress rn."

Khalifa joining in on the joke and replied: "I know now, tweet sent from Tower of London".

London hasn't been the only place Khalifa has visited on her tour of the country. She also spent time in Faversham in Kent, but it wasn't her cup of tea.
