Michelle Pfeiffer has shared a candid snap of herself without makeup, and she has been described as "the most beautiful woman in the world".

The 65-year-old actress has been a staple on the big screen for decades and is arguably best known for her portrayal of Cat Woman in Batman Returns (1992).

Pfeiffer uploaded a snap of herself to Instagram on Friday (June 30), where she showed her natural beauty to her 2.9 million followers.

In the post, the 65-year-old is seen sitting on her sofa with her dog, Dot, wearing a Columbia University t-shirt with a black sweater and her blonde wavy hair falling over her shoulders. Pfeiffer wrote on the post: "Good morning," followed by a yellow heart.

It's safe to say her fans absolutely adored this snap of her, as they flooded the comments with compliments.

One person penned: "You look [like] the most beautiful woman in the world in the world even without makeup, don't worry."

A second added: "[You're] so beautiful and talented," and a third person said: "Thank you for rescuing this little love bundle," in relation to her dog who she recently rescued.

Earlier this year, Pfeiffer took to Instagram to defend Grease 2, a movie that she made early in her career as rumors had circulated that she regretted doing it, per ScreenRant.

Clearly, this couldn't be further from the truth, as the actress wrote over an article that had incorrectly spelled her name: "This project is and has always been so special to me and my history - One should never trust a publication to get quotes right if they can't even bother to spell the person's name correctly."

While Grease 2 didn't live up to the success of its predecessor, Pfeiffer would only see her career boom as she appeared in Scarface, which propelled her into stardom and she was nominated for an Academy Award seven years after Grease 2 for Dangerous Liaisons.

Pfeiffer has dabbled in the world of Marvel in recent years, making appearances in the Ant-Man movies and Avengers: Endgame as Janet Van Dyne.

Other notable credits for the actress include A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hairspray, and Murder on the Orient Express.
