Mike Tyson has revealed that he believes he is inching closer to death.

The 56-year-old boxing legend spoke on his podcast, Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, with therapist Sean McFarland, who specializes in trauma and addiction, and told him he feels like his death is imminent.

"We’re all gonna die one day of course," Tyson said. "Then, when I look in the mirror, I see those little spots on my face, I say, 'Wow. That means my expiration date is coming close, really soon.'"

The former heavyweight champion has become very introspective lately. Before talking about his death, he spoke about how being a multi-millionaire does not bring the contentment and protection that other people might suspect.

Check out the video below:

"Money don't mean s*** to me," Tyson said. "I always tell people, they think money’s gonna make them happy, they’ve never had money before - when you have a lot of money, you can’t expect nobody to love you."

"How am I gonna confess my love to you when you have $500 billion?" he questioned. "The false sense of security. You believe nothing can happen. You don’t believe the banks could collapse."

Tyson went on to say that people believe having a lot of money makes them "invincible" which he disagrees with - adding that to him money is a "false sense" of security.

The one time 'Baddest Man on the Planet' then went on to explain that he had conversations with his wife, Lakiha Spicer, about finance and disclosed that she said the money will provide her with long-term security when he passes away.

"I don’t know," he answered. "When you put money in your bank and you get a check every week and you can live for the rest of your life, is that security?"

"That means you won’t catch a disease? You can’t get hit by a car? You can’t jump off a bridge? I don’t know. Is that security? Can money secure you from that?" he added.

Iron Mike has certainly become more contemplative in recent years and discussed how certain experiences in his life have changed him.

In another episode of his Hotboxin' podcast, Tyson interviewed fellow boxing icon, Sugar Ray Leonard, and got emotional as he reminisced on his life, and how he's a different person today.

"I'm working on being the art of humbleness," he said. That's the reason I'm crying, 'cause I'm not that person no more, and I miss him."
