Miley Cyrus has cut her hair into a bowl cut-mullet in quarantine and she's transformed from a pop princess to looking more like a punk star.

This comes after the 27-year-old singer admitted that she has no idea about what the coronavirus pandemic is actually like because of her privileged lifestyle in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker said: "My experience is so rare, it almost doesn't feel right to talk about. This isn't COVID-19, what I'm experiencing.

"My life has been pushed pause on, but really I have no idea what this pandemic is like."

Miley Cyrus put on her famous blonde wig for this Hannah Montana throwback last year:

Now, as many of us struggle to get to grips with cutting our hair in quarantine (and others are simply embracing the weird and wonderful dos they can now sport), Miley turned her sexy rendition of Joe Exotic's mullet into what can only be described as a pixie mullet.

The 27-year-old has had a mullet for months, and it was originally created by celebrity hairstylist Sally Hershberger, who told E!, "Miley wanted to go more punk. She wanted something edgy."

And Miley has now gone a step further in quarantine with the help of her mom Trish!

The singer debuted her new quarantine haircut on Instagram stories yesterday after posting snaps of women with iconic mullets including Debbie Harry and Cherie Currie.

Her new hairstyle was then reshared on Sally's Instagram where she wrote: "I trained Tish well!"

Now, while there is no doubt that Miley is absolutely rocking her new hairstyle - a word of warning, unless you're extremely confident in you or someone you live with's hairdressing abilities, we don't recommend trying to emulate this one at home!

After all, this woman gave her husband a lockdown haircut so was bad he had to go bald...
