Millie Bobby Brown's accent seems to have changed again...

Now, it all started after the 20-year-old actress appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this month where fans accused her of "changing her accent."

Have a look at the clip below:

The Stranger Things star has been known to have a pretty strong British accent, growing up in Bournemouth in the United Kingdom for eight years before moving to Florida.

While she initially kept her original twang over the years, things have now seemingly shifted as fans noticed that her accent sounds wildly different from her usual one.

Discussing her underwater proposal by Jake Bongiovi, the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, she appeared to switch between a handful of different tones saying: "So we go under, and we're many meters down and he gives me like, a shell. And I turn it over and it’s a ring."

She then described how she put the ring on her finger before it slid off and "plummeted" deep into the water, prompting her new fiancé to swim after it.

Even though the story was both hilarious and adorable at the same time, viewers couldn't help but be distracted by the sound of Brown's voice.

Comments ranged from general confusion all the way to slamming the actress for becoming a "rich valley girl."

However, in a new interview on The Jonathan Ross Show which premiered in the United Kingdom earlier this week, the actress appeared with her original British accent while talking about the upcoming season of Stranger Things - which fans picked up on yet again.

"I thought she started to loose her accent but here it seems fine maybe cause she’s surrounded by Brits," wrote one user, while another added: "What an accent change from Millie's interview with Jimmy Fallon posted 8 days ago."

A third also stated: "What happened to her American accent?"

But with all the drama surrounding the topic, Brown herself has now addressed the issue during a recent press junket for her latest project Damsel.

When asked about her ever-changing accent by Max Balegde, she said: "But let me just speak to that real quick. So, I’m an actor. I grew up in the public eye. I grew up in America. I come to set and I’m an actor and I adapt. I want to mimic people.

"I can’t help that when I’m around my fiancé [Jake Bongiovi] or when I’m around Jimmy Fallon, who [both] have a very American accent, I want to replicate it," she continued before adding: "I don’t do it intentionally and I’m sorry if it offends you. But listen, I’m trying my best!"
