Contrary to the lyrics, it would seem that everybody is talking about Bruno...

Yes, the overwhelming catchy tune 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' from Disney's latest animated movie, Encanto, has surpassed the Frozen's Acadamy Award-winning track 'Let It Go' in the Billboard Hot 100.

Back in 2013, parents were driven crazy by their children repeatedly playing Idina Menzel's 'Let It Go', which tells the story of Queen Elsa finally embracing her icy powers after fleeing her kingdom.

The empowering track - which was written by the husband and wife team of Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez - scooped the 2014 Oscar for Best Original Song and went on to peak in the Billboard Hot 100 at number 5 in April that same year.

However, last year Disney released their 60th animated motion picture, Encanto, which tells the story of the multi-generational Madrigal family, who have each been gifted with a special power to help those in their Columbian village. Well, all except Mirabel - who must learn to accept herself and her family for who they truly are in order to save their home.

The movie is a visual masterpiece, and although the story may not be as adventurous as past Disney flicks, the soundtrack certainly is. Penned by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the movie features a soundtrack celebrating Columbian culture, with all the songs standing out thanks to the Hamilton creator's creative and inspired lyrics.

Here I am talking to Lin-Manuel Miranda about Encanto in the video below:

One song, in particular, that has captured the hearts of viewers is 'We Don't Talk About Bruno', which sees characters from the village come together to share their stories of the movie's perceived villain, Bruno.

Credited to Carolina Gaitán, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero, Stephanie Beatriz, and the Encanto cast, the track is a perfect example of Miranda's exceptional lyrical skills. It's emotive, mysterious, funny - and popular!

In fact, 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' has become Disney's highest-charting song of the 21st century, peaking at number 4 in the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to 29 million streams and 8,000 downloads sold.

It has also become Disney's highest-charting song in 26 years.

In 1995, Vanessa Williams also hit the number 4 spot in the charts with her beautiful version of 'Colors of the Wind' from Pocahontas.

Other Disney songs to peak in the top five are Elton John's 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight' from The Lion King, which reached number 4 in 1994, and Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle's 'A Whole New World' from Aladdin, which hit number 1 in 1993.

Now, before you leave, let's all enjoy 'We Don't Talk About Bruno':
