A young music fan had his dreams come true after he was invited on stage by his favourite rock band.
Caleb Hayes became a viral sensation after a video of him air-drumming at a Slipknot concert in Newcastle started doing the rounds online. In fact, the video was so popular that it quickly caught the attention of the members of the group, who were impressed with the youngster's skills.
In fact, they were so impressed that they invited the five-year-old to another of their gigs in Birmingham, where they gave him and his family VIP tickets, and even brought him on stage where he was applauded by thousands of other Slipknot fans.
The band's drummer, Jay Weinberg, took to Instagram to post a slew of pictures and videos from the concert. "It was such a blast inviting this young shredder Caleb to last night's show in Birmingham. Ready to throw down on his new @sjcdrums snare and Foundation double pedal!!," he captioned the post.
Responding to Weinberg's post, Caleb's mother, Kim Hayes, thanked Slipknot for the once-in-a-lifetime experience. "How lucky to be gifted with such amazing things! Caleb is so grateful to receive them Fantastic day in every possible way @jayweinbergdrum, @SJCdrums @slipknot Thank you so much! Treasured forever [sic]," she said.
