Justin Bieber has concerned fans by revealing he's been "struggling" with mental health issues.
The singer took to Instagram today to share that he'd been feeling "super disconnected and weird" lately, amid reports that he postponed his second wedding to Hailey Baldwin due to depression.
Nonetheless, the 25-year-old appeared hopeful, writing that he wasn't worried because he "always bounces back".
"Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys," he wrote. "Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird.. I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me. God is faithful and ur prayers really work thanks .. the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on.."
The Love Yourself star accompanied his post with a throwback 2016 photo of him hugging Kanye West and his longtime manager Scooter Braun.
His honesty was applauded by his followers, who flooded the comment section with supportive messages.
"I love you so much. so so much. you are seriously one of the strongest people i have ever known so i have no doubt you’ll get through this. but take all the time you need, your health and happiness is most important. sending my prayers out and supporting you always [sic]," wrote one fan.
Another added: "You will be alright made through a lot we love you so much and will pray for you. You got this Justin❤️❤️ [sic]," while a third wrote: "YOU CAN DO THIS DUDE!!! I believe in you and always have ♥️ [sic]".
In mid-February, it was alleged that the What Do You Mean musician had pushed back his wedding ceremony so he could fully focus on his mental health.
Speaking to People, a source claimed that his model wife was his rock and was supporting him all the way.
"They will have a wedding ceremony with family and friends eventually," they explained. "However, right now, Justin’s focus is getting well mentally. Justin is doing okay. He is very focused and committed to getting help. Hailey is very supportive – Justin is very open about that, Hailey does nothing but help him."
Furthermore, the source allegedly added Justin would "feel lost" without Hailey - who he tied the knot with in November - and is "very grateful" for her support.
In addition, it was said in February that the singer was receiving treatment for depression after going through a "rough patch".
In the past, the 25-year-old has opened up about his addiction to Xanax, a drug used to treat anxiety disorders, telling Vogue: "I found myself doing things that I was so ashamed of, being super-promiscuous and stuff, and I think I used Xanax because I was so ashamed.
"My mom always said to treat women with respect. For me that was always in my head while I was doing it, so I could never enjoy it. Drugs put a screen between me and what I was doing."
