Watch the awkward moment a man mocks a woman for wearing a band’s t-shirt…without having a clue who she is, or why she’s wearing it.
The cringeworthy clip was shared by dismissthisband on TikTok and users were shocked were confused about the man’s views in particular.
In the clip, a woman is shown sitting at a restaurant, wearing a t-shirt of a band.
She explained that, while she was waiting for her food to be served, a man had come up to her and asked her name three songs by the band whose merch she was wearing.
Little did the man know…the woman wearing the merch of her own band
Little did the man know, however, that the woman was a member of the band itself - but she was still put on the spot by this stranger, looking to catch her out.
The woman in question is Jo Cotrotsou, the lead vocalist of a Greek rock band called Bad Habits.
That’s right, she was asked to name three songs by her own band, by someone assuming she was wearing the t-shirt of a rock band for attention.
To make matters even worse, the t-shit that Cotrotsou was wearing had the band’s name clearly emblazoned on the front, in an eye-catching red font.
“Guys,” she said in the video. “I don’t know how to feel about this.”
In the clip, Cotrotsou’s reply to the man wasn’t shown, but reflecting on the encounter, she puts her hand to her face, mortified, and tries not to laugh.
Who are Bad Habits?
Formed in 2020, Bad Habits are a Greek rock band, formed of Jo (vocals), Ellie (bass and vocals), Spiros (guitar), Severin (lead guitar) and Apostol (drums).
The band hail from the Greek city of Athens and have gained over 14,000 followers on TikTok.
It appears, though, that they have recently had to change their moniker, with thweir Spotify now listing them as Dismiss instead.
Their latest single, Down In Flames, was released in 2024 and has garnered over 50,000 streams on the platform.
Users on TikTok were cringing at the encounter, with most shocked at the gall of the man in question.
“People actually do this [in real life]?” One user asked. “That’s so embarrassing for them.”
Another summed the situation up very well too; “You should have said ‘name the band members.’”
