Musician trolled for his relationship to 'African Kim Kardashian' is running for president

The musician Grand P - who recently hit headlines after being trolled for his relationship to a woman known as the "African Kim Kardashian" - has now announced his intention to run in the presidential elections in his home country of Guinea.

Per a recent report by The Sun, Grand P (real name Moussa Sandiana Kaba) who is currently engaged to plus-sized model Eudoxie Yao, announced his intention to run for president of Guinea through a political party called Amour Consideration et Unite (ACU).

In a post on his official Instagram and Facebook accounts, Kaba uploaded a picture of himself with the caption:

"I declare my candidacy for the 2020 presidential election in Guinea. May God bless Guinea. [sic]"

Meanwhile, Yao, who intends to work as his campaign manager, wrote a message for support for her future husband on Facebook, which read:

"I will be in Guinea with my (future) husband Grand P, the next president of Guinea. I will run his campaign. [sic]"

She also uploaded a picture of them both to Instagram, which she captioned:

"Full support for my husband Grand P, the future president of the Republic of Guinea. My candidacy for the presidential election of Cote d'Ivoire has been rejected, but I do not despair. See you in 2025 for my candidacy.

"Even if I am not President of Cote d'Ivoire, I can be the First Lady of Guinea. I believe in it. [sic]"

Grand P was born with progeria, a rare genetic disorder that has affected his size and stature. He was bullied and excluded because of his size and appearance for many years.

Meanwhile, Yao claims to have the largest posterior in Africa, and has been dubbed the Kim Kardashian of the Ivory Coast by her many fans.

The couple first announced their engagement in August, and haven't been shy about the public displays of affection, despite being routinely taunted by trolls who allege that the couple has only been dating for the sake of a publicity stunt.

However, in a recent Instagram post, Yao struck back at her haters, writing:

"We are happy together, and this is the most important thing. Thank you, everyone, for your support. The physical does not count in a relationship.”

So could Grand P become president after all? We'll just have to see what the ballot has in store...
