Naomi Campbell has opened up about becoming a mother at 50.

The supermodel, now 51, graces the cover of British Vogue's March issue alongside her baby daughter, in a first look at the nine-month-old's face.

While Campbell has never revealed her child's name, she did use the interview to tell the world that becoming a mother is the "best thing" she's ever done.

The iconic model shocked fans in May 2021 when she announced the arrival of her daughter on Instagram. She posted a secretive photo of herself cradling her newborn's feet.

"A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother. So honored to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel," she captioned the image, adding: "There is no greater love."

At the time, fans expressed their surprise at the news that Campbell had become a mother. In her interview with British Vogue, the supermodel said they were right to be shocked, as very few people know that she was planning for parenthood.

"I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her," the star revealed, adding: "But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”

Campbell was deliberately cryptic about the exact details of her daughter's arrival. She went so far as to clarify that the little girl wasn't adopted but did not give any further information saying simply: "She wasn't adopted - she's my child."

Elsewhere in the interview, with new mom had nothing but praise for her nine-month-old.

"She’s a good girl: she sleeps very well, she hardly ever cries and I’m told she’s very alert for her age. She’s just started waving, which is fun. She laughs a lot. She’s almost talking," she said, adding: "I think she might walk before she crawls. And she's got six teeth already."
