Netflix viewers are warning others not to turn the lights out after watching the new horror release Our House.
The "sci-fi skin-crawler" follows the lives of three siblings in the wake of their parents' deaths, with the eldest child creating a machine that can bring back the dead... needless to say, this does not go to plan.
The 2018 movie was directed by Anthony Scott Burns, and it stars Thomas Mann, Nicola Peltz, Kate Moyer, and Percy Hynes White.
Watch the trailer for Our House below:The synopsis from the film's distributor, IFC Films, reads: "A machine that can bring back dead loved ones seems like a great idea...until you unleash the wrong spirits.
"When his parents are killed in a car accident, science wiz Ethan (Thomas Mann) must leave behind college and his girlfriend (Nicola Peltz) to care for his younger brother and sister. By day, he juggles the responsibilities of raising two kids; by night, he tinkers in the garage on an invention he hopes will change the world: a machine that can generate wireless electricity.
"He gets more than he bargained for, however, when the device awakens the dead souls that haunt the house. As Ethan and his siblings attempt to make contact with their parents, a horrifying realization sets in: not all the spirits in their midst may be friendly.
"This hair-raising science-fiction ghost story is a nightmare journey into a past that refuses to stay dead and buried."

One viewer also took to Twitter to advise people to stick with the movie despite its slow start.
They wrote: "Our House on Netflix is nice lil jumpy/spooky thriller. Starts off slow, tho."
Similarly, review on Looper advised people to watch the movie at night not to turn their lights out: "It's one of those movies that might never have found its audience if not for Netflix, and it's well worth a watch.
"If you still happen to be spending a lot of time at home, though, you might want to watch with all the lights on... and if you hear any strange noises, maybe just ignore them."
Our House is available to stream on Netflix now.
