Nick Cannon has confirmed that he is expecting his eighth child with model Bre Tiesi.
The news comes just over a month after the tragic loss of his newborn son.
The comedian, 41, tragically lost his youngest son Zen, who he shared with model Alyssa Scott, to brain cancer last month.
Despite the heartbreaking tragedy, reports are now suggesting that Cannon is once again expecting a baby boy, this time with real estate agent and model Bre Tiesi, according to TMZ.
Take a sneak peek of Nick Cannon and Brie Tiesi at the gender reveal party:
As reported by People, Cannon confirmed the pregnancy rumors during the opening of his eponymous talk show. After joking with the audience about his growing family, Cannon said that he is in a "great space", and was aware of Bre's pregnancy prior to Zen's passing last month.
The happy news means that Cannon will become a father of eight, which he shares with five different women.
Over the weekend, the reality star seemingly hosted a baby shower for the newest addition, decorated with both pink and blue balloons.
Bre was spotted cradling her growing baby bump during the event, with Cannon holding her blossoming bump at various moments throughout the celebration.
Cannon shares five-month-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, with Abby De La Rosa; 11-month-old daughter Powerful Queen and son Golden, four, whom he shares with Brittany Bell; his late son Zen with Alyssa Scott.
He also shares twins, Monroe and Moroccan Scott, 10, with ex-wife Mariah Carey, whom he was married to from 2008 until 2016.
The influencer just finalized her divorce from NFL star Johnny Manziel in November, saying that although there was no "bad blood," she is "officially done," with her marriage.
Cannon has been bravely open about the devastating loss he and his ex-girlfriend Scott experienced late last year.
Baby Zen died after he was diagnosed with a brain tumor on an episode of The Nick Cannon Show in December. Cannon revealed that he and Scott chose not to treat the child with chemotherapy.
Watch Nick Cannon open up about his special tribute to Zen:While speaking with People about Zen's life and illness, Cannon recalled how the baby’s breathing had suggested something was off shortly after he was born in June.
At two months old, the baby was diagnosed with brain cancer. Doctors placed a shunt in the infant's skull to drain fluid, but the tumors in his head continued to grow.
But the parents decided not to subject Zen to chemotherapy. Cannon said he and Scott's priority was making sure Zen was "as happy as he could possibly be."
