Pedro Pascal had jaws dropping over his recent get-up at the Met Gala this year, his second-ever time at the highly-publicized fashion event.

The 48-year-old actor - who is receiving wide praise for his role in the post-apocalyptic drama series The Last of Us - was one of many celebrities attending the New York gala, with this year's theme focused on the legendary Karl Lagerfeld.

The late German fashion designer was the creative director of Chanel from 1983 until his death in 2019 and was recognizable by his trademark white hair and black and white suit combination.

Everyone dressed in their own interpretation of the theme, with Doja Cat going a step further and attending the event dressed as Choupette, Lagerfeld's beloved pet cat.

One of those attending had hearts swooning across the internet - Pedro Pascal.

The actor set tongues wagging with his Valentino ensemble from the fashion house's fall/winter 23/24 black-tie collection.

The bold red look featured a double wool oversized coat with scarf, red poplin oversized shirt, black wool shorts, black silk faille tie and black socks with combat boots. The actor then completed his look with several gold rings and a slicked back 'do.

The Chilean-born actor has received renewed fame thanks to his roles in The Last of Us and The Mandalorian, the former of which was filmed over 11 months in Alberta, Canada.

Speaking of the experience, Pascal told Insider: "It was incredibly challenging, but it was more fun than anything else because of how delicious the scripts are, the characters, the creators, the team, putting it all together, the locations, the cultural environment of being in Canada and having a Canadian crew and all of these elements that fell into line with one another."

He continued: "It didn't mean that it wasn't hard work, and that it wasn't a very specific kind of physical labor for everyone. That's kind of what happened. A very large family going through a very contained experience, and it was really wonderful for everybody."

"There was a day of shooting, and we were out in the elements. There was snow everywhere, and we were on the side of a mountain, and it was really cold, and there was a trek through the snow, and there were three or four house-size wind machines. I loved it. I love it. I want to go back," Pascal added.
