A horror series has been dubbed "the scariest" that people have ever watched, as fans flock to Now TV to get their horror fix.

When it comes to horror movies and shows, people either love them or hate them, and some are simply forced to watch against their will.

I'm going to put it on the record right now - there is absolutely no shame in hiding behind pillows or tactically looking at your phone at the scariest moments.

Having the instinct to look away when something is about to make you jump is a skill that should be commended.

But for those who can handle the scary stuff, there's a show on Now TV that might be of interest as some people claim that it's the scariest thing they've ever seen.

The mystery horror titled From centers around a city in the middle of the US where those who enter are trapped and are then forced to survive the threats from the surrounding forest.

The show boasts a 7.7 rating on IMDb and is currently in its second season, so there is plenty of horror to catch up on!

Mixing horror with mystery always results in a suspenseful watch but it seems like it has got people absolutely hooked and dying to see more.

One person penned on Twitter: "I’ve never seen a show that is into it’s second season and we still don’t understand wtf is going on. I’m so hooked but I need a clue damn it?!?!? Wtf is happening?"

A second person dubbed it: "This is the scariest show I’ve ever watched, it so good."

A third person said: "Watched #FROM because [Harold Perrineau] was in it and I loved him in the best man movies...glad I did. From is one of the best shows I've ever seen. Yall definitely put yall foot in this show [sic]."

The show has a 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes which proves that it really is worth your time.

Brad Newsome from the Australian news outlet The Age gave From a four out of five rating, while writing: "The horror is real – and it gets real gory – but this is no simple splatterfest. Series creator John Griffin has built his world meticulously, and all his characters have their own fraught back stories and their own personal demons."

James White from Empire wrote: "Perrineau and the cast are game, and the story unfurls relatively naturally, even as it bumps into the odd cliché here and there – surly teens, weird moony types who hear voices and feel compelled to do strange things, the arrogant douche who slowly comes around."

The show is available on Now TV but viewers can also pay for it on Amazon Prime - but maybe only do it if you don't have a nervous disposition!
