Hillary Clinton has shared her low-key savage response to Donald Trump's old casino being demolished - and Twitter is loving it.
Yesterday, February 17, the Atlantic City casino was destroyed due to considerable disrepair, per Sky News. That morning, the casino was imploded, and within 20 seconds, the building was no more.
According to the outlet, although Trump originally had the casino commissioned to be built, at the time that it was destroyed, it was owned by Carl Icahn, a billionaire who bought two of Trump's casinos back in 2016.
Hillary Clinton (famously not one of Trump's biggest fans), trolled the former president by reacting to footage of the building being demolished, shared by Bloomberg Quicktake on Twitter, with a simple hand-waving emoji.
Essentially, the 73-year-old former presidential nominee was waving goodbye - ironically, we can only presume - to Trump's former 32-story casino.
In the video, onlookers can be heard cheering loudly as they watch the demolition take place from a distance.
And while Trump was unable to respond to Ms. Clinton's jibe - given that he is permanently banned from Twitter - social media users from all over the world had plenty to say about her tweet.
One person said in response: "Whenever a Trump business fails or a Trump building crumbles, an angel gets its wings.
"I love when Hillary Clinton goes on Twitter to throw some epic shade at Donald Trump...who remains banned and is unable to respond in kind. Reminder: She was right about everything."
Another person joked: "That building crashing is a metaphor for Trump's political career."
Another person shared: "My great grandmother had a house on that strip, my dad spent his summers there. Just a few blocks down Trump waged war on neighbors and forced them to leave so he could build this.
"I'm so glad it's gone, but today can't replace the neighborhood that he destroyed."
Ms. Clinton is known for being a fierce critic of her 74-year-old Republican counterpart. This came to head during their respective run in the Presidential Election of 2016.
And just last month, following the deadly Capitol riot, she reposted her own viral 2016 tweet in which she told Trump: "Delete your account".
