Pete Davidson has opened up about how he hated the jokes people made about his dating life, stating that it made him feel like a "loser."

Now, we're all pretty much clued up on Davidson's love life, right?

I mean, how can we not be? Over the past few years, the man has racked up a pretty impressive line of exes so much so, that he's been branded a modern-day Casanova by social media users.

The 29-year-old comedian has dated the likes of singer-songwriter Ariana Grande and Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor, but perhaps his most notable lover was none other than socialite-turned-lawyer Kim Kardashian.

After her messy divorce from musician and fashion designer Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, the 42-year-old embarked on what can only be described as a whirlwind romance with the SNL funnyman.

The pair attended glitzy events together and even packed on the PDA for their fans who were surprisingly delighted with the unique crossover. However, that excitement was short-lived as the pair called it quits just nine months after initially being spotted together in October 2021.

It didn't take Davidson long to move on though as he was spotted getting cozy with model and podcast host, Emily Ratajkowski, but just like the rest of his recent relationships, the flame only burned for a few months before the pair parted ways just before the new year.

Since then, Davidson has seemingly enjoyed a low-key romance with Bodies Bodies Bodies costar Chase Sui Wonders as per multiple outlets that reportedly have seen the lovebirds out and about together.

However, it seems as though having such a public dating life has come with its fair share of drawbacks for the comedian.

In a new interview with Jon Bernthal for his 'Real Ones' podcast, Davidson stated that he felt like a "loser" because of how obsessed people are about his dating history.

"I'm in my twenties and I've dated people. And for some reason, that's very crazy and interesting to people," he told The Walking Dead star as per PEOPLE.

"I don't think it's interesting," he continued. "I've been in show business for, like, half my life almost — for 14 or 15 years and on a national TV show. In 12 years I've dated 10 people. I don't think that's that crazy, but to some people, that's very interesting. That became all anyone would talk about."

He then went on to emphasize that he wasn't trying to show off despite how impressive the women he's dating are.

"I'm not, like, flexing, you know what I mean? And these people that I've dated, I met them at work," he added. "I wasn't in anyone's DMs, no one was in mine. I worked at one of the five Hollywood epicenters of where you meet people and that's how it happened."

The star then opened up about how this has impacted his work life.

"Suddenly you're in this zeitgeist and that has nothing to do with the work," he explained. "And that's a really s***** feeling. I became more known before the work was there, but I was always working.

"I'm cool with the joke. I get the late-night jokes," he stated before adding that sometimes it all became a little too much.

"When your own show [makes fun of you]," he explained, "I'd be sitting in the back watching the cold open and — the cold open [is] topical, political humor, whatever's in the culture. And then, making fun of you. Then you've gotta walk out and do a sketch next and hit your mark and the show just made fun of you. So, why are they gonna laugh at you? Like, they just dogged you in front of everyone... And you're like, 'I'm a f****** loser, man.'"

"These are the people I've been with for almost a decade," he told the host. "I grew up in front of these people. They've watched me through the most difficult time in my life, and they've been there for me. And nobody ever showed more leeway and grace to me than Lorne Michaels, and I owe my life to that guy, but it was f****** confusing 'cause the nature of entertainment is the nature of this business."

He concluded: "At the end of the day, that's what it is. This was a really difficult thing to do. You feel small. You feel super insecure."
