A petition calling for journalists and presenters to stop interviewing Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith has now been signed over 18,000 times.

The celebrity duo has become known for sharing candid and intimate details about their family life and relationship in interviews, but their honesty has become too much for many fans.

Change.org user Dexter Morales was so fed up with hearing about the couple's private life that he created a petition last Thursday calling for people to "Stop Interviewing Will and Jada Smith."

Since then, it has gone viral, racking up 18,529 signatures, at the time of writing.

The petition comes just weeks after Will Smith's tell-all memoir Will hit shelves. In the book, the I Am Legend actor spills the beans about his rocky marriage to Jada Pinkett Smith.

As well as detailing his fantasy of a "harem of girlfriends," the book also discusses Smith's experience with psychedelic drugs and recounts a time in his life when he had so much sex that he would physically throw up during intercourse.

Meanwhile, Pinkett-Smith has recently used her Facebook chat show Red Table Talk to open up about being addicted to pornography, alcohol, ecstasy, and sex.

And in a special episode of Red Table Talk in which both husband and wife appeared, the celebrity couple discussed how they had broken up and gotten back together again over the years. Pinkett Smith spared no details describing how she began a relationship with rapper August Alsina when Smith failed to satisfy her sexually. As for Smith, he admitted to harboring intense feelings of jealousy over his wife's close friendship with Tupac Shakur.

Most recently, Smith appeared on UK chat show The Graham Norton Show. During the interview, the actor shared that he played his grandmother in one of Pinkett Smith's sex scenes before they had even met.

Clearly, the couple's oversharing attitude has become too much for many fans.

"Everything I learn about this couple is against my will. Free us," tweeted one person.
"Whoever keeps interviewing Will & Jada… stop. We’ve had enough," another wrote.

"This is a petition we can all support," added a third.

Will is available to buy now, and the actor's latest movie King Richard is currently playing in movie theaters.
