Pink's husband Carey Hart has said that he's a "proud" dad after taking their two children to a shooting range this weekend.
However, after it was revealed that he had taken his children to the range, Carey was forced to explain why he is voting Democrat in the upcoming election and not Republican.
The 'So What' hitmaker appeared to be absent from the shooting activity on Saturday morning which was attended by Carey, nine-year-old Willow, and three-year-old Jameson.

In videos posted to social media, Carey can be seen teaching his three-year-old son how to correctly position a rifle as his elder daughter got to work shooting hers independently.
"Fun morning shooting w/ my kids! Willz is getting seriously good w/ the rifle and handling of a firearm," Carey captioned the image.
"And jamo absolutely loves shooting! And the rate that he is processing the handling of them, he makes me proud."
He then explained why he had taken his children shooting: "I'm a firm believer in teaching my kids to shoot, but more importantly, handle a fire arm. No better sound than the bullet of your kids gun plucking a steel target at 30 yards. Have a great weekend, everyone. #IfYourDontLikeItScrollOn #PokeTheBear [sic]."

It was then that one of Carey's Twitter followers questioned why he was supporting the Democrats despite their position on firearms.
Per the Metro, they wrote: "It's badass you are teaching your kids. Which is why I'm so confused you would support the democrats who have stated they will take our guns Unless only the rich will be allowed the privilage [sic]. Let that sink in as to why people will vote Trump [sic]."
In response, Carey wrote: "1st they don’t want to take your guns, and why has none of the 44 before been able to take them?? Second I’m a republican who hates Trump, so I have no choice [sic]."
Pink also appears to have lent her support to the Democratic party. In an Instagram post earlier this month, the singer wrote: "Get your facts. Which means, don’t listen to your leader, unfortunately."
