Sometimes, the rich and famous do bizarre things. They have a lot more money to play with than us Average Joes and this can result in purchases that most of us would never dream of.

Case in point, Post Malone's decision to file a trademark for his very own global beer pong league.

The news was broken by TMZ on Monday who revealed that Malone's legal team had filed a trademark on the "World Pong League" with the intent of using it for beer pong tournaments, competitions, and "exhibitions".

This is the moment Malone handed out $50,000 in cash at a Miami club:

According to the report, the name from the singer and his manager Dre London will be used in a variety of merchandise to promote the beer pong league including sportswear, plastic cups, drink glasses, and pong balls.

However, Complex reported that the creation of this merchandise was very much in its early stages, but because of Malone's previous association with beer brands, it's not hard to imagine the venture being a success.

Malone's appreciation of alcohol even extended to the creation of his own Maison No. 9 brand of French Riviera Rosé, which Complex reports sold an impressive 50,000 bottles in two days.

Outside of the world of alcohol, Malone's currently hard at work on his fourth studio album, something he revealed to the Wall Street Journal earlier this month.

In his interview with the publication, Malone said that being stuck inside all day every day as a result of the ongoing pandemic is a blessing and a curse during this "dark time in America".

Opening up about the album's content, he said he's Malone said he's "just vib[ing]-out and [seeing] where my brain takes me - this has been a perfect time to make music and to write songs about what’s going on currently."

"I'm just trying to make something beautiful out of it," he said.
