Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor turns two today - and the birthday wishes are already pouring in!

Several members of the Royal Family have shared their special messages to the toddler, including sweet notes from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as the Queen herself.

Kicking off the well-wishes were the official social media pages for the Royal Family.

The official Twitter account for the Royal Family shared with its 4.6 million followers that they are "wishing Archie Mountbatten-Windsor a very happy 2nd birthday today."

Included in the birthday post was the very first public photo taken of Archie as a newborn as he is held by his proud father, accompanied of course by mom Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.

Similarly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are shared their birthday wishes to Archie on Twitter, writing that they're "wishing Archie a very happy 2nd birthday today".

Will and Kate shared a heartwarming family photo taken at Archie's Christening in July 2019.

The snap features Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, Meghan's mother Doria Ragland, Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with baby Archie.

The Twitter account for the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall wrote: "Happy birthday to Archie, who turns two today."

The sweet message was shared alongside a black and white photo of Prince Harry holding Archie as Harry's own father, the Prince of Wales proudly looks on.

Today marks the second birthday Archie has celebrated amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Last year, Harry and Meghan, abiding by social distancing guidelines, did not hold a big party for their then-one-year-old, per Vanity Fair.

Instead, they reached out to friends and family on FaceTime.

A friend of the royal couple told Vanity Fair's royal correspondent Katie Nicholl at the time: "They are taking the lockdown very seriously and so far they haven't seen anyone, not even Doria. I expect they will celebrate Archie's birthday with a little gathering."

The usually private Duke and Duchess of Sussex last year marked Archie's first birthday by releasing footage of their adorable son, which saw his mother reading the picture book Duck! Rabbit! to him.

It is expected that the couple will share another special video or photograph of Archie for his second birthday.
