Yesterday, the Los Angeles Rams were crowned Super Bowl champions after they beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 at the SoFi arena.

But for one Ram, one ring just wasn't enough.

Third-year safety Taylor Rapp celebrated his victory by securing another win on the field.

After helping his team beat the Bengals, Rapp proceeded to get down on one knee and propose to his girlfriend Dani Johnson.

The high school sweethearts from Washington state have been dating since they were teenagers, with Johnson sticking by Rapp's side throughout his rise to superstardom.

And now he's won the Super Bowl, the 24-year-old champion took the opportunity to get down on one knee and pop the question.

Unsurprisingly, Johnson said yes, and the pair shared a sweet embrace on the pitch while crowds clapped and cheered.

But Johnson's wasn't the only heart Rapp melted with his surprise public proposal. A clip of the moment has gone viral on social media, with many taking to the comments to gush over it.

"This is so sweet," wrote one person with a heart emoji.

"It hurts seeing people live your dream..." added another.

"Happy Valentine’s Day!" a third commented.

Meanwhile, others joked that the proposal wouldn't have gone quite the same way if the Rams hadn't won.

"Can’t help but wonder what his backup plan was if they would have lost," one person tweeted.

"I wonder how many proposals get postponed each year because the guy planning it’s team loses," another wrote.

One person pointed out that Rapp was making a tactical decision by proposing on the field.

"Tactical proposal. Zero chance she’s saying no here," they tweeted.

Rapp started to turn heads at the University of Washington, before being selected by the Rams in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft. He contributed seven tackles on Sunday night, helping carry the Rams to their second Super Bowl victory.

The team's last Super Bowl victory was in 2000, when they beat the Titans 23-26 at Super Bowl 34.
