Travis Kelce is preparing for one of the biggest games of his career, but that hasn’t stopped fans from focusing on his relationship with Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs star, 35, fielded several questions about his pop superstar girlfriend, also 35, during the Super Bowl’s opening night event in New Orleans on Monday, February 3.
One of the questions focused on Swift's skills in the kitchen. “Oh, she’s quite the cook,” Kelce revealed. “I’m a breakfast guy, man.
"I would say her homemade Pop-Tarts are unbelievable.”
But it’s not just Swift’s cooking that Kelce admires. He also had nothing but praise for her incredible work ethic.
“I better hold up my end of the bargain,” he said. “She’s up there being the superstar that she is and never taking no for an answer and always working her tail off. I better match that energy for sure.”
Is Kelce Planning a Super Bowl Proposal?
With all eyes on the Chiefs tight end, one reporter decided to ask the burning question: Is Kelce planning to propose to Swift during halftime?
Rather than give a direct answer, Kelce played coy. “Wouldn’t you like to know,” he teased, flashing a grin at the camera before moving on.
The rumors come amid Swift’s recent public displays of affection for her NFL beau.
Ahead of the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 2, she liked an Instagram photo of Kelce stepping off a plane in New Orleans wearing a bold yellow tracksuit.
Later that night, she seemingly gave another nod to him by accessorizing with a glittery red thigh chain featuring the letter ‘T.’
Fans also highlighted how Swift was donned in "Chiefs Red" for the big event.
Will Swift Be at the Super Bowl?
Swift has been a regular at Kelce’s games since the pair began dating in 2023. She was last spotted cheering him on at the Chiefs’ victory over the Buffalo Bills on January 26 in Kansas City, Missouri.
It remains unclear whether she’ll be in attendance at this year’s Super Bowl, though it seems likely.
With her record-breaking Eras Tour wrapping up in December 2024, she has more time to support Kelce as he aims for another championship win.
Swift was on the field celebrating the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory in 2024 when they defeated the San Francisco 49ers, embracing and kissing Kelce after the game.
If she makes an appearance this time, it could make for yet another memorable moment between the couple... however, there's perhaps no doubt that would rely on a victory for the Chiefs.
Chiefs Aim for Historic Three-Peat
While Kelce dodged proposal speculation, his immediate focus remains on the game.
The Chiefs are looking to secure their third consecutive Super Bowl title in what promises to be an intense rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles. The last time the two teams faced off in the championship was in 2023.
The Super Bowl kicks off on Sunday, February 9, at 6:30PM ET in New Orleans.
Kelce and Swift first got together in 2023 after he publicly expressed interest in her on his podcast.
They confirmed their relationship in October of that year, and ever since, they’ve been each other’s biggest cheerleaders — Swift attending Kelce’s football games and Kelce making appearances at her concerts.
Whether an on-field proposal is in the cards remains to be seen. But if Kelce and Swift have proven anything, it’s that they know how to keep the world watching.
