The release date for the much-anticipated Jurassic World 3 has finally been unveiled, giving us all something to look forward to as we ride out the last few months of 2020.
Now, on the off chance that you haven't heard yet, it features the original cast (yes, that includes Jeff Goldblum), so it really is a movie to get excited about.
The news was broken on social media where Universal shared that the new movie will be released on June 10, 2022.
This was accompanied by a creepy poster for the film, which features the names of Sam Neil, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern, who are all making a return to the franchise.
Fans of the series learned that Jurassic Park and Jurassic World would be combining through Pratt, who hinted that the latest film would be the best yet.
In an interview with Variety, Pratt, who plays Owen in the films, said: "Man, I can't tell you anything, but I can tell you it's going to blow your mind. It's going to be the biggest and best yet. They spared no expense and they're bringing everybody back."

In this instance, "everybody" is a reference to the stars of Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Jurassic Park III: Neill, Dern, and Goldblum.
The characters making their return from the original 1993 film will be reprising their roles with Dern playing Dr. Ellie Satler, Neill portraying Dr. Alan Grant, and Goldblum will once again step into the shoes of Dr. Ian Malcolm.
Colin Trevorrow told Empire that he had to think of the best way to continue their legacy.
He said: "We'd have to come up with a reason why Ellie, Malcolm and Grant all went to the theme park on the exact same day it broke down - again. The next film allows the legacy characters to be a part of the story in an organic way."
Cast your mind back to the trailer for the original Jurassic Park:This comes after Pratt told MTV News, per Digital Spy, in 2019 that the latest installment in the franchise would feature a significant jump in time and a real twist in the tale.
He said: "When I heard the pitch, I was blown away. I can't believe they found a way to deliver on the promise of the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom... The island is blown up.
"The animals are out. We can't put 'em back in the box. What are we gonna do? How is - not only these dinosaurs but this technology moving forward - going to affect the planet? And we jump forward, it's like, 'Oh! Oh right! Oh damn.'"
