American actress Selma Blair has shared a video of herself walking in her new leg braces amid her multiple sclerosis (MS) battle.

Selma has been open about her struggle with MS on Instagram, but of late she has been quiet about her illness. However, she is now back and stronger than ever.

In a new post, Selma shared a video of herself walking in her new leg braces that she captioned: "Insurance came through!!!! Thank you prosthetic and orthotic group for finding me such a game-changer of walking support."

"I am giggly. @ottobockus_ca I am impressed. #practice. I pick up corrective patterns really easily, so I am especially happy to have support to rewire brain. This and @the_alinker_world have been invaluable. #independence feels great."

In the video above, Selma can be seen walking in her Ottobock braces, which are strapped around her calves as she walks toward her mirror.

She says that she is "so happy" in the video before thanking the company for providing her with such a helpful walking aid.

In case your memory needs jogging, last year Selma totally slayed on the red carpet with her cane.

As per the National MS Society, the illness is the result of a disease of the central nervous system which affects the flow of information between the brain and the body. This can result in a number of symptoms including difficulty walking, fatigue, numbness or tingling, weakness, pain, and depression.

Back in 2018, when Selma first opened up about using a cane on Instagram after her diagnosis that year, she explained in the comments section that it "is also to alert people I may trip (likely) or fall or slur."

This empowering video comes after Selma trolled her haters last year as she stripped for a semi-nude shoot following chemotherapy for MS.
