Shaquille O'Neal has found himself in some hot water after publicly referring to Ice Spice as "damn fine" in a recent post on social media.
Taking to Instagram, the professional basketball legend decided to try and shoot his shot with the 'Munch' rapper in the caption of a photo of the two of them, as well as Taylor Swift and businessman Jamie Salter amongst two others.
In the caption he wrote: "And @icespice is so dam fine thanks @taylorswift."
Of course, fans took to the comments to express their opinions on the athlete trying to hit on someone half his age.
"The last thing I’d expect on my page is Shaq saying ice spice is fine," wrote one user while another added: "Shaq shot his shot... but it was a free throw."
A third wondered if the star got hacked writing: "Yo bro, is her being the same age as his kids not crazy? Was he hacked."
Others also brought up O'Neal's children, stating: "Shaq bruh u got kids older than her."
And this user was also less than impressed, commenting: "Bro had to have been drunk with that caption."
The post seemed to be a follow-up from a previous shot that only consisted of O'Neal, Swift and Salter in which the athlete admitted that he managed to fulfill his dream of meeting the 'Shake It Off' singer while adding that Salter gifted her a bag by the designer Judith Leiber.

The rapper, whose real name is Isis Naija Gaston, joined Swift as part of her superstar entourage alongside actress Blake Lively and singer Lana Del Rey as the women shared some pretty wholesome moments together.
However, it didn't come without controversy as the 24-year-old was accused of using "demonic" hand gestures when she was caught on the big screen.
"Nothing to see here, just Taylor Swifts guest Ice Spice throwing up demonic signs while wearing a upside down cross making sure the world sees it on the big screen. DEMONS," wrote one user while another added: "Ice spice doing a demonic ritual while Taylor swift drinks alcohol next to her."
"What in heaven’s name is going here? It looks like Taylor Swift's guest, Ice Spice, throwing up demonic signs while wearing an upside down cross, making sure the world sees it on the big screen with Balenciaga on her sleeve," another NFL fan wrote.
A third also stated: "Taylor Swift’s friend 'Ice Spice' throwing up demonic signs and wearing an upside down cross making sure the world knows who they worship. On top of everything else she's also advertising for 'Balenciaga.'"
Well, it didn't seem like Shaq minded too much because clearly, he's still very much interested.
This is one couple I cannot stan, but we'll just wait and see how it all unfolds.
