Sharon Osbourne has revealed that having cosmetic surgery on her face was "the worst thing" she ever did.

The 71-year-old television personality - who is married to Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne - has been open about going under the knife in recent years.

According to CNN, Osbourne has had facelifts, Botox, fillers, "lifts" to her legs and arms, a tummy tuck following gastric-band surgery, breast implants, and a neck lift.

Despite writing in her 2013 autobiography: "Every time you go under the knife for vanity, you are slicing off yet more of your self-worth," the former X Factor judge continued to get more cosmetic surgeries in the following years.

Osbourne has now admitted in an interview with The Times that she regrets her procedures, describing a recent face lift as "the worst thing that I ever did".

"I looked like Cyclops. I had one eye here and one eye there and my mouth was all skewwhiff, and then I had to wait for that to heal before I could go back and have it corrected," she said.

The mother-of-three confessed that she had work done because of "Vanity. Ego," and comments from others such as "'Oh, you look great for your age,'" adding: "But I know what I really look like. When I look in the mirror, I see the real me."

In the same interview, Osbourne candidly spoke about her use of the weight loss drug Ozempic - which is a Type 2 diabetes medication that people are using off-label for shedding body weight - and revealed that her family is concerned because they believe she doesn't eat enough food.

"Everybody was on it and I thought, 'Well, I’ll have a bit of that.' And so this is the outcome," she said. "It’s been a year in December since I started to diet and I’ve lost 42lb. I can’t seem to put weight back on, which is a luxury, but also it’s like, be careful what you wish for."

This isn't the first time the America's Got Talent judge has mentioned the medication as during an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored in September, she divulged that she lost far more weight than she intended.

Speaking to the host, Osbourne said: "I lost 42 pounds now and it's just enough. I didn't actually want to go this thin, but it just happened, and I’ll probably put it all on again soon."

She described her symptoms in detail, sharing: "At first, I mean, you feel nauseous. You don't throw up physically, but you've got that feeling. It was about two, three weeks where I felt nauseous the whole time."

That lack of desire for food, she said, is "why I keep saying you’ve got to keep this stuff away from younger people because they will go berserk on it and it’s not right".

Osbourne also voiced another warning against the medication during an interview with Daily Mail, stating: "My warning is don’t give it to teenagers, it’s just too easy. You can lose so much weight, and it’s easy to become addicted to that, which is very dangerous. I couldn’t stop losing weight … and I can’t afford to lose any more."
