Sharon Osbourne was taken to hospital on Friday after experiencing a "terrifying medical emergency" while filming a paranormal TV show.
The TV star, 70, had been filming for her son Jack Osbourne's show, Night Of Terror, when she was taken ill and needed medical attention.
According to reports from TMZ, Sharon had been filming at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, California - a haunted hotel that has previously featured on an episode of Ghost Adventures.
A representative for the Ventura County Fire Department confirmed to the publication that EMS workers responded to a "medical call" at around 6:30 PM and took a patient - who Santa Paula Police Chief Don Aguilar confirmed was Sharon - to hospital.
Jack, 37, later confirmed that his mom had been released from hospital after being given the "all clear", but declined to go into the reasons behind her hospitalization.
He told his followers: "Ok here is what I'll say - first things first MY MOTHER WASN'T FILMING A EPISODE OF @ghostadventures. She was filming a new episode of Night of Terror with me. Hahaha.
"Now that we have made that clear... She has been given the all-clear from her medical team and is now home.
"Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support. As to what happened to my mum - I'm gonna leave it to her to share about when she is ready."
Sharon has yet to speak out on the circumstances behind the incident, and the Glen Tavern's manager told TMZ that there was an "emergency", but did not provide details on what happened.
It is also not known whether the cameras were rolling when Sharon's emergency occurred.
Jack had shared a photo of him and his mother on Instagram at the end of the week, showing them both wearing sunglasses and dark jackets.
He jokingly captioned the snap: "Plus One and part time bodyguard."
Sharon's husband, Ozzy Osbourne, 74, has faced a series of health issues of his own of late, having been diagnosed with a form of Parkinson's in recent years.
He also suffered injuries after a fall at his home in 2019, while also having pneumonia, which meant his tour at the time was postponed.
