Shrek fans have been left mortified after realizing that the third movie holds an adult joke that went completely over our heads.
The Shrek movies were a staple for most of us growing up, and let's be honest, we all sit down and rewatch them every so often because they are timeless.
But as we get older, we start to notice things that may have slipped by when we were kids - and it turns out that the Shrek movies are full of jokes for the adults.
For example, in the third movie, there is a scene where Shrek is lying in bed and Donkey is trying to get him to get out, so he pulls back the covers.
What is left is Donkey with a look of pure horror and Shrek's giant green leg sticking out - clearly demonstrating that he isn't wearing anything at all.
Donkey pretty much confirms this, as he goes: "You know you really need to get yourself a pair of jammies."
We can only imagine what Donkey saw, but if we read between the lines it paints a picture that he saw more of Shrek than anybody should ever have to see.
If this innocent moment went over your head too, then rest assured you weren't alone, as people flooded the comments with their thoughts.
"My mind did not go in the right place," one person commented, as a second added: "How did I miss that??"
Though if you're still unsure what is going on here, a third user simply summed it up by saying: "They be..." followed by three smirking faces.

This isn't the only Shrek moment that seems to be aimed at the adults, as in the first movie there is a scene with Lord Farquaad that, in my opinion, is even more alarming.
As the villain lies in bed, topless, he asks the magic mirror to show him a picture of Princess Fiona.
After the mirror obliges, the sheets by Farquaad's groin raise and he has an embarrassed look across his face - you see where this is going, right?
It would appear that he is very attracted to Fiona and got a little too excited by the picture in the 'blink and you'd miss it' moment...
Who would have thought these innocent movies could be so dirty?!
