Snoop Dogg is demonstrating what a great boss he is.
The legendary rapper revealed on Tuesday that he'd given his full-time blunt roller a raise to help them cope with inflation.
It was already well known that being Snoop's personal roller was a generously paid, salaried position. But it turns out that being the artist's full-time blunt crafter is also a job that makes you eligible for pay rises.
The hip-hop mogul first opened up about his professional blunt roller - or 'PBR' - during a 2019 appearance on The Howard Stern Show.
After mentioning that his employee was always on hand, Snoop was asked by Stern to confirm that he had in fact hired someone to roll for him full time.
"That’s his J-O-B — his occupation. On his résumé, it says, 'What do you do? I’m a blunt roller. P-B-R, professional blunt roller," he said.
Snoop added that his employee was excellent at his job and that he always knew when to be on hand for a smoke break. "That motherf***er’s timing is impeccable," he joked.
As for how much he paid his PBR, Snoop revealed that the coveted role came with a $40,000 - $50,000 salary - not to mention all the free weed you could ever want to smoke.
Several years after his appearance on the talk show, this entertaining nugget of information was shared by the Twitter account UberFacts on Monday.
"Snoop Dogg employs a full-time blunt roller who makes between $40,000 and $50,000 a year," the account tweeted.
It wasn't long before Snoop himself stepped in to let people know that this information was now out of date, as his already generously paid PBR had been given a raise to help cope with the rising cost of living.
The artist wrote: "Inflation. Their salary went up!!"
While the thought of having a personal blunt roller might seem outrageously indulgent, it's actually fairly common among rappers. Per Huff Post, Snoop's fellow artists Kid Cudi, Waka Flocka Flame, and G Herbo have all been vocal in their hunt for the perfect roller - though it's unknown whether they managed to fill the position.
