Cherneka Johnson certainly went all out to cut those extra few grams at her recent weigh-in.

The Australian boxer, originally from New Zealand, put her IBF super bantamweight championship on the line against Ellie Scotney at Wembley's OVO Arena in London, England, on Saturday night.

Despite coming up short in the bout and losing her title, her actions at the fight's weigh-in the day before still have people talking.

Taking to the stage for the weigh-in, Johnson made sure all eyes were on her as she arrived in swimsuit bottoms, and nothing but body paint and pasties on her torso.

The professional fighter had painted on a white sports top, with the OnlyFans logo front and center - perhaps a not-so-subtle attempt at promoting her own content.

In fact, during a recent interview with Boxing Social, she opened up about her collaboration with the subscription site, saying: "It's something new, something exciting.

"There will be lots of behind-the-scenes content [that is] never seen before on my Instagram. There's gonna be mixed emotions about it... but I feel like it doesn't matter what anybody else says."

Johnson also shared some close-up details of Friday's outfit (if you can really call it that) on her Instagram page, captioning one video: "If you’re not subscribed then what are you doing?!"

However, the look was met with a seriously divided response, with some people accusing Johnson of hurting the reputation of women's boxing.

"What an embarrassing moment for the sport of boxing," one person commented, with a second adding: "All respect lost."

A third agreed, writing: "Women fought tooth and nail to be able to box and these bimbos just go and sexualise it for a quick buck."

But there were also many people in the comments section who supported Johnson's right to do whatever she wanted with her body, with one person standing by the fighter and writing: "All the guys here that are mad as hell: you know she gets punched in the head for a living, right? Like she already trades years of her health and cognitive abilities for money.

"How is leveraging already being sexualized for profit any different than leveraging being able to take a hit for profit?"

A second fan added: "F**k all these negative men in the comments, there's a lot of male boxers that are on [OnlyFans] also. All the men on here who are so angry at this is ridiculous. Still the sweet savage still the champ, you do you!"

Scotney's win on Saturday evening meant that she was able to claim the IBF super bantamweight title in just her seventh professional fight.
