Earlier this month, former boxing world champion Mike Tyson announced he was preparing to make his comeback and step back in the ring.
The 53-year-old - who hasn't had a professional fight for 15 years - shared a 25-second video earlier this month showing him furiously training for a comeback to the ring, captioning the video: "I'm back".
Watch the "comeback" video below:In the video above, Tyson showed off his impressive physique, speed, and power as he trained with Muay Thai coach Rafael Cordeiro. However, he is looking even better in a yet another glimpse into the anticipated comeback.
Sending a video message to his Chinese fans on the social media platform Weibo on Wednesday evening, the former world champion says he is channeling the spirit of the country’s former dictator, Chairman Mao, as he prepares to step back in the squared circle.
And once again, Tyson appears to turn back the clock as she showcases his remarkable physiques and speed in the clip.
Check out Tyson's latest clip below:Tyson - who has a tattoo of Mao on his right shoulder - says in the video: "Hey I’m Mike Tyson, I’m on Weibo now and letting you know there’s a possibility I might come back. But if I do, I’m going to fight with the spirit of Mao."
He ends the video with a fury of punches, reminiscent of his former glory days. Tyson's vicious display was eventually cut short, however, when his dog interrupted the workout, prompting him to burst out laughing.
Recently, Tyson has been touting possible exhibition fights with former world heavyweight champions Evander Holyfield and Shannon Briggs.
In the last few years, "Iron Mike" has lost over 140lbs by changing his diet and doing hours of cardio a day.
Taking about his lifestyle overhaul on SiriusXM’s Rock The Bells show, Tyson said: "My whole family is obese and stuff and that was my goal, not to die that way. I didn’t want to die that way. And I respect them and love them, don’t judge them, I just didn’t want to live my life like that. I didn’t want to restrict my life.
"You are what you eat. I don’t eat bread, I don’t eat nothing like carbs, like potatoes. I don’t eat nothing that puts on weight, nothing that has a calorie. I eat the things with the least calories possible. Blueberries, fish or something. That’s very rare.
"Lately it’s a plant-based diet and I may eat some fish or chicken every month or two. But other than that just plant-based, fruit, and all that stuff. And hard cardio."
We seriously cannot wait for this comeback!
