Muhammad Ali will forever be known as one of, if not, the best boxers of all time.

However, it looks like the legend's grandson is set to take the boxing world by storm after leaving viewers amazed after scoring a first-round knockout on Saturday.

Nico Ali Walsh, 21, took on Alejandro Ibarra at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday night - but the fight did not last long.

Just two minutes and fifty seconds into the first round, Ali Walsh scored his fifth professional win with a jaw-jarring KO.

Check out the moment in the tweet below:

Per TalkSport, Ali Walsh said after his fight: "This is just a testament to all the work I put in. Stuff like this happens when you put the work in.

"I’m bringing my grandpa back to life, and that’s why mom gets so emotional because she’s seeing her dad again and hearing her dad’s name to me."

And it's not just the youngster's mom who is seeing glints of the late great Muhammad Ali in the ring - as many viewers also took to Twitter to make the comparison.

"He's just like his grandfather. Like grandfather like grandson," one Twitter user wrote.

A second added: "Nico's grandfather has to be smiling from heaven right now."

"Daaaaaammmmnnnn! Nico Ali Walsh with the KO. Looking like his grandfather," added a third.

Commenting on his victory, Ali Walsh continued: "I was setting [Ibarra] up with the right hand.

"I noticed his left hand was going down when he threw the jab. I was trying to counter it, and that’s what I did.

"I wish the best for him and his team. He’s a true warrior. But I just waited for that setup, and I saw it and I took advantage"

Celebrating his victory on Instagram, Walsh Ali shared several post-match shots and wrote to his fans: "All praise be to Allah!! Thank you to every single person that watched this fight or bought tickets to this fight. You guys are the true champions!! Glad I could put on a highlight worthy KO for my Vegas crowd!! The Legend Lives On..."

He accompanied the caption with an emoji of a butterfly and an emoji of a bee - a nod to his grandfather's famous quote.
